The install is fairly easy I would imagine from the diagrams that the Horizon has more of the winch on the deck so I guess the Sprint would have more under the deck thus being a lower profile. I have not had any problems with the line binding up nor have I heard of any inherant problems with that.

No I have a CC and we put a Pivoting Bow Roller on the box which is designed for use with the windlass. Just hit the switch and down it goes.
