Default Re: Hull I.D. Numbers???

Its very common to have 1970's boats with a different Hull Id Year than the title. I had a 1976 hull id with a 1977 title on my 23. It dosen't necessarily mean the boat was built in 1976. It can mean many things. It could be a 1976 hull that wasn't finished in 76 or wasn't delivered to the dealer until 77 or 78. It could also be a 76 model that was built in 78. The hull numbers in 76 and 77 are pretty messed up. But two years on a 20+ year old boat really don't make much difference in value. Condition matters the most regardless of the year.
