Had someone else do it . Did a few X tra things ,Put drain pipes from the stringers,Re-inforced all corners etc.

Hey Roger - I thought your name was familiar - I've seen it on the SNESA list...

Try doing some searches here and on SNESA. I seem to remember seeing someone good and reasonable in the Fall River / New Bedford area.

Update: I might be thinking of this thread on my board: http://www.striped-bass.com/vbulleti...hlight=transom - There are some shop names in their and you also may want to e-mail Van, say you got the link from John @ S-B, and ask how satisfied his freind is with the transom work....

In South Jersey cost is 1100.00 to have it replaced and raised 5 inches.
