Default Re: 1989 18' CC Specs?

Striper-
I have the 1989 18. Tracker Marine built the boat. I have a 130 Yamaha, my max. horsepower rating is 150-as you mentioned. My father's boat is a 1987 with a 150,his max. horsepower rating is for a 175(I checked the max weight for the boat on the two Spec. plates and the weight issue in the stern for the bigger motor appears to be the reason for the smaller engine rating). As you mentioned, CSY (sailboat CO.)built that era of Seacrafts. I can tell you first hand the boats do not differ much. Same hull design (I'm not sure on stringer and glass details, Trayder could fill you in more) and slightly different hardware. No problems on my boat. I get 38 mph on the GPS. The 115 would be too slow. When I repower, I'm going to the 150 2 cycle for speed -47 mph, price, and weight. Give me your fax # and I will fax you the Potter Era specs on this boat. The info is still accurate to the 1989 for the most part. The boat rides like any nonSeacraft 21 footer. Planes off well.
