If you watch Shipshape Tv. Right now, they are fixing up a 21' Seabird on the sunsine network. or go to www.shipshapetv.org. Seabird had a good hull design and was well made.

Scott,

Congradulations... from a fellow project SeaBird owner! I have a '73 23 footer that was an I/O Cuddy model. I'm going to close the transom for a full floatation bracket and then interior mods. SeaBird made a nice boat in their time. I wish I knew more about the company's history. Best of luck.

Jim - no, I didn't get to take her out, but we ran the engine for a good 30 minutes or so without issue. Also did a compression test (courtesy of Jack ) with all cylinders equal.

JAL - do I hear the rumblings of ClassicSeabird.com? We'll have to keep in touch and compare notes.

Scott-

Hope you covered that Seabird up before the big storm! I think we should go "ice" fishing with it in Boston harbor. I can't believe the charles river has already frozen over in spots....this is the earliest I can remember in the ten years I have lived here.

Scotty,
Where you out of?

Ed,
Like a dummy I didn't cover her up. Yesterday I shoveled her out with a dustpan (didn't have a plastic shovel) just so today's rain today didn't add addtional weight. Codfishing huh? I might be convinced to give it a try . Got the new electronics the other day so I'm dying to play with those.
