Re: New 21' Seacraft info
Yep, I have Joey's 21 Seacraft and have to agree it is a great riding boat, went from a 1988 20 cc Seacraft to the 21 and it does feel like a much bigger boat, not trading it anytime soon.

Re: New 21' Seacraft info
Thanks for the information guys, this has been a great help. I have been spoiled with my Albemarle as far as quality, performance & ride in a boat & I really think the Seacraft 21 will meet & exceed all my expectations!! Now all I need is to find a good home for my Albie!

Re: New 21' Seacraft info
Do any of you have a splashwell door on your 21? I have never seen how they come from the factory and was considering making one. Does anybody know how the factory does this?

Re: New 21' Seacraft info
Looked into building one, similar to the 20's that folds down when the engine is tilted, but would have to leave an opening in the bottom for the cables etc, so I left as is. have not had a problem with water coming in, just wanted to reduce the engine noise.

Re: New 21' Seacraft info
I am more concerned with the engine noise too, since my Merc EFI 2 stroke is very loud. If I make one I will probably just make a slide in type out of starboard. I don't have any cables in the way on mine.

Re: New 21' Seacraft info
You could use a piano hinge at the midway point so it just folds over when tilting the engine, worked great on my 20, do you have twin batts on yours and if so, how is the battery/oil tank setup?

Re: New 21' Seacraft info
Thanks. I will probably go with a split door with the piano hinge. My batteries and oil tank are all under the console. Are yours in the rear? I don't have any cables or wires anywhere near where the splashwell door will be.
