Since I am an owner of a 21 I will weigh in here...

What most people forget is "Rare" does not always mean more money.

There were more 57 Chevy's sold than 57 Fords...in today's market which one brings in the money. Need I say more.

If that 21 sells for 5k the owner should be smiling all the way.

It is too bad that he made a fatal error on this forum. It will be hard to get anyone to even get excited about it.

Remember ST.Augustine Seacraft? I think here first price was around 2k? Then she found out it was rare...up to 5k. She sat with that for months. It finally sold for under 2k.

This should be interesting.

Listed as a 22' but it's definitely a 1966 Moesly 21. Sans windshield but very good looking in blue stripe. Looks very well cared for with modern power and a new Bimini.

Somebody buy that thing, quick before my meds wear off

It seems like all the other models out there...don't see one for years and then they pop up like daisies.

Considering what I have into mine, and this one is running. It seems like it would be a good buy.

Hi, This is the Son of the owner of the 21ft 1966 SeaCraft. I see this is a very rare boat, we are very surprise. This boat is like part of our family and is in very nice shape. The price on the Craigs list is wrong the price for the boat is $10,550 O.B.O.

Great introduction and 1st post . Tell your Dad to pay $25 and place his listing on the site. You'll get better exposure than Craigs

Uh... Because you doubled the price?

While the Moesley 21 is a rare boat, buyers for them are almost as rare. The one Bigfluke bought was for sale in St. Augustine for several years. I think the Craigslist price was the right one. There aren't going to be many willing pay $10K for a 21.
