If there is enough interest I can bring a cooker to either fry fish or steam clams. I have fried a bunch of fish lately so I'm leaning towards steaming some clams. If there is enough interest I will make a run to Cedar Key and grab a bag of 100 for anyone who wants some. They are $20 a bag for the best clams you could ever want. Let me know and I'll make the run a day two before the gathering.

Denny Denny Denny, I'll take and show you the way in, from the north once over the outside flat its 3-4' back behind the island. I'll show you in the day time in case you need to go back there. South side is very skinny, I haven't been back there much.

Reminder - make sure you have enough track space on your GPS's as this will be new water and it gets very very dark - hence the excellent star gazing

Hi everyone!

Just picked up our first Seacraft and this is home turf for us so seriously considering this if in town :-)

Just so I'm clear as the thread is a bit long -

Weekend is first in November 2013 starting with drinks / dinner in Tarpon Springs on the water somewhere on the Friday night then Sat is north end of Anclote
There will be fellow Seacrafters camping on the North end over the weekend

Bring boat food bait rods reel camera beer

What am I missing?

That is two bags so far. Anyone else?
They are farm raised and really good size if I ask for them. I will call the "Clam House" in advance to make sure they are available and ready to go for that weekend. If we order enough they may give us a break on the price but it's a great deal as it is. Hooters gets 45 cents a clam. Read into that whatever you want....

Not much - the north bar is the saturday target, there will be guys staying on boats but I don't think anyone is tent camping.

we'll post some cell phones so everybody can find each other

Mr. Moose, that $.45 per clam at Hooters also includes the cute fanny hanging out the bottom of the orange shorts. That's the difference in price.
