Just heard from Brian at International Marine, he said the boat was sea trialed and she runs 40mph at 6000rpm with optimal cruise is 27mph at 4200rpm (IIRC)! I love the sound of those numbers!! Hopefully I can pick her up later today

I heard they raised the motor one hole and got 42 and 30.
Good numbers indeed.

Like those even better. Perfect for me. I don't need to go any faster anyways. Supposed to pick her up later today.

I really want to install the GPS/Fishfinder and VHF before I take her out so hopefully I can get that done later today...

You got that right!

In over 38 years of boat ownership (I got my first boat at 14), I have NEVER had a brand new motor. I have repowered several boats through the years but usually with a "previously conditioned" engine. All of the boats I have owned have been at least 10 years old. This will be a brand new experience for me
