It means "Seller Beware and Buyer Beware"

It's Latin. I'm a priest, remember?

Well DonV,

It is actually Latin

Where as:
Caveat exigo- let the seller be wary
Et alii/aliae - Other persons/things
Caveat emptor - Let the buyer beware. (He buys at his own risk)

Hope this clears up the confusion.

Respectfully submitted, Sam

"Common Sense is learning from your mistakes.

I learned the sad way from my family's mistake. I am simply posting
to help others not be in the same position - please learn from our mistake
and do not settle when selling your boat.

I was not trying to group all members of classicseacraft together, simply pointing out that I felt my family was taken advantage of by a specific buyer. (He who shall not be named) This is a wonderful site and I have read many, many of the posts and appreciate the wisdom, advice and obvious love of seacrafts that the members possess. My apologies if my opinion and advice offended any of the members. That was far from my intent.
