Hey Ken, did ya notice how the painted background of the World Wide fish tank is peeling off. The folks there are not too happy, only been just over a year and it's falling apart. It cost big $$$ to drain and paint that tank, however I'm thinking they have plenty of money. Wish I could have made it back down Friday, sorry I missed the good times and Denny's "Pappy"!! Take care!!!

Bones...did you keep Denny out of the "Pappy Van Winkle"
Them are fight'in words there, nobody gets between a man and his Bourbon without some trouble

Denny was nice enough to share the last bit with me at West Palm, for that I am forever grateful.

In a word, NO! Was able to share with SkipperT, Blue Heron and GFS & offered some to No Bones & crew but they were in a hurry to return to work! Nothing like good times with great friends, good food and good Bourbon! Getting to see Carl and Jeanne again was the highlight! Gave Carl an old book I bought years ago titled "High Performance Powerboats", written in 1968 by Uffa Fox, an English naval architect. Carl knew about Uffa Fox and said he was also a well known sailboat designer, but that he never had time to go over there to participate in the rough Cowes to Torquay race in the English Channel during the early 60's. (He was too busy winning races over here!) He seemed to be real interested in reading this fairly technical book.

Thanks again to SkipnCarla for being such generous and gracious hosts and to Dave & Julie for supplying the bugs we weren't able to nail in the Key Largo area! Denny

Prev to this week, we had winds blowing hard, Snapper's flag stood straight out for days! Muckied up the waters big time.

Anyway, we started the week off right with a drink at Holiday Isle with Blue Heron (Dave) and his group along with our few.

Afterwards threw some pork chops on the grill and NoBones#1Son (Little Kenny) did the honors of BBQing them.

Wednesday & Thursday we went out for Lobster ... turned out to be a lot of seas for little CJ. After each wave, the landing was nice, but a bucket of water would come over the sides. Did I tell you bowriders are wet boats?
NoBones thought I was crazy when I asked for a towel. I was sitting in the forward cockpit with #1son. 3 waves later I was wringing the towel out. But we were hungry for bugs and continued on. Oceanside / Bayside ... didn't matter. NoBones & NoBones#1Son worked hard & gathered up the few bugs we did get ... THANKS TO THE NOBONES FAMILY!
Bushwacker with GFS & Brian on his 20 Seafari ... they stayed dry. Brian was really impressed with the ride of the SeaCrafts ... and may soon become an addict too!
Back on dry land Friday night, had a few more friends stop by and more good times.

#1Son chatting with #1 Lady

Blue Heron listening to one of Dad's many stories

And CSC's master Chef, Mr. GFS !!! (Sandy)
BBQing the Lobsters to perfection.

Well, my freezer didn't get filled, but we had a wonderful feast and a wonderful time. Thank you all.
Skippertee & Carla

I'm so envious! It looks like y'all had a great time. Hardly a day goes by without my wishing I could come to one of your gatherings and meet your mom and dad. Maybe one day I'll be able to make it happen. Til then, keep posting pics!
BTW, how's the raceboat coming along?
