Default 1988 23 Sport Fisher in WA State

Hey guys,

I was in Seattle yesterday and found the following in the local Boat Trader:

1988 SeaCraft 23' Sport Fisher (walk), Yamaha 230 hp IO (?), PS, windlass, outriggers, 75 Gal. fuel, "bristol" for year, '89 EZ Loader tandem w/ surge brakes, $16,450 Redmond (Seattle) WA 425.885.9439

The picture looks good, but can't tell about the drive. I actually had the time to go look, but there was no answer. I did cruise arount Puget Sound area. What a grat place for fishing and cruising in a 23'! Salmon anyone...

I spoke to Gary, the owner of this boat. It came out of Alaska as a hull and he re-did it with a new YAMAHA I/O. I have never heard of it, but he bought it new and had it installed 50 hours ago. The motor is a GM block - 230 HP. He's not into the digital camera or email thing so a prospect would want to inspect it. He's say's it runs great and will be happy to seatrial it for anyone serious. Gary is 63 and wants to get out of boating.

Maybe Gary in Bellingham can help find a buyer for it.

If the boat came down from Alaska, it was probably sold by Hawleys. They had brought 3 WA and 1 Cuddy to Bellingham. I don't recall and I/O though, I think they were all outboards. I bought the 1989 Model,23WA one that was cutout on the transom for twins, the others were all narrow single mount cutout. They sent all 3 of them to Alaska in 1989.
Hawley's is out of business now.
