Default Why I like Notched Transom

Hello,

In talking with Scott yesterday, we talked at length about transoms. In my travels on the net, I came across this video which is pretty cool. It shows the virtues of an open/notched transom pretty clearly.

Enjoy,

Definitely a good design when trying to get rid of a little green water!

Nice clip TG. My wife thanks you too, now she has a new surfing site to check out.

think I'd have preferred to be on the 7'2" that day than caught inside in the boat

pretty impressive raw water washdown though

Doesn't leave much doubt about the demise of "Act I", does it?

Sent the link to a buddy of mine who has a Robalo (which is what that boat is) and he said you would never see a Sea Craft do that.. and I said yeah I have more sence then that, but if I did it would look a lot prettier then a Robalo...
