Default 1975 Sceptre Inboard

1975 SEACRAFT SCEPTRE
One of 26 inboard models made. Original gelcoat, no paintwork. Bow rails, aluminum frame windshield with tinted glass, Teak swim platform, head in cabin, VHF radio, new compass and Garmin GPS. 1997 Marine Power 350, 260 HP, (installed in 1998), Borg-Warner 71C V-Drive, 1 1/4" SS shaft 16" x 15" bronze prop. 20 knots cruise @ 2800 rpm, 30 knots WOT.

Boat was run minimally in 1998 and 1999. Previous owner bought a new boat in 1999. Boat sat ashore 2000, 2001 and 2002. Engine hours estimated as under 200, only 10 hours so far this season.

2003 Improvements:
· 2003 Float-On, 6000# Aluminum I-beam trailer with brakes.
· new 55 gallon fuel tank and all lines.
· decks rebuilt.
· carberator rebuilt.
· all cooling hoses and clamps replaced.
· new alternator, battery and cables.
· new "SeaCraft" decals to match originals.
· new Morse single lever control

2004 Improvements
· new Faria gauges and digital depth sounder with in-hull mouted transducer.
· new woodgrain dashboard, glovebox and switch panel engraved to match originals.
· all running gear removed machined and replaced. Stuffing box repacked, shaft straightened, new cutlass bearing and rudder strut repacked.
· new adjustable anti-vibe. engine mounts.
· new exhaust manifolds, risers, mufflers, hoses and clamps.
· new jabsco bronze raw water pump.
· rewired at engine, dashboard and switchpanel.
· cabin doors repaired and varnished.
· new cabin cushions.
· new blower.
· new transmission lines, overtemp warning light and switch.
· new 360 gpm bilge pump (emergency pump is 1500gpm on new automatic switch with warning light on dash).

I obviously flunked cat_chuck's school of posting pictures. I've been at it too long! I'd be glad to email some photos taken yesterday to anyone interested.
