That's pretty slick looking. I like how they mounted the helm. What kind of boat is it?

Yep, just as Bobber stated, that's what is known as a "poop-preventer" and is usually used for the first couple years of an engines life (kinda like the way you baby a new car). The shade it provides also helps to keep the engine from overheating in the hot climates and very warm waters where these flats boats are used.

the only thing I could think of is for para sailing. But a 30 hp doesn't seem fast enough.
