Default Live Well

Has anyone built a livewell that is removeable that will fit into the motor well?
I have seen a couple motor well covers that were used for rod holders. I am looking for a better idea for a livewell in my 1971 23 SF.

Default Re: Live Well

The motor well on the Potters were made very large and take up a lot of room. When I re did my boat I removed most of that and build a 32 gal live well for under the deck and located it where the newer Seacraft live wells fit just behind the leaning post seat. I set it up with the raw water hook up and a 500 gal pump works great. I have not heard of anyone doing what you are suggesting. Most guys that close off the transom will consider putting one in at the transom or use that same area for a fish box.
