Default 18 cc power

Hi All,
I just bought a 1989 18 cc, the boat has a 120 hp Evinrude on it now, I have a good running 225 hp Evinrude , will this boat handle this much power?
Thanks,
Walter

I agree. My 20 with an 85 is more than adequate. I could see a 150, but thats about it.
