Default Photobucket questions

FINALLY.

I am no longer a caveman. Got pics on P.B.

Do I have to write commentary in their space or do I do that when I post on CSC?

What size is best?
Thx,
GFS

Typically when you post. Cut/paste the third line (last) under the pic in PB where you want the pic to appear.

Write your text on the CSC site, add the pic anywhere you want in your text message. I think PB resized the pic's when you uploaded them to their site, so you should be ready to go.

GFS

Let's see if I gave give you a few pointers.

1. I find it easiest when adding a pic to a post to have photobucket open in a seperate tab or window

2. I'll assume you have uploaded pics to photobucket. Double click on the pic you want to post.

3. Next, right click on the pic, then click on Properties

4. Highlight the Address(URL) , it will look like this
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y9/...g?t=1203470672

However, you do not want any of the stuff after .jpg, so it should looks like this

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y9/...ooandkings.jpg

5. Right click on what you highlighted, then click on copy

6. Then start your post on the CSC, and when you want to add the pic, click on Image just below the box where you type your text, and a box will appear asking for the URL

7. Right click on the line where the address goes, and click Paste , your URL address of your pic should then appear in that line. Click OK . The URL address will show in your text with "image" on both ends, but in your actual post, your picture will show.

I hope this helps.

Lloyd

After uploading pics to PB, cut/paste the last line under the pic (next to "IMG code") into your post and you're done.

Thx Capt Lloyd,

I lived in the Moorings 27 yrs ago and surfed the 2nd light. I`m a yankee barney. Almost died the day after `cane David. Much better swimmer than surfer. Thx for the help . Will try tonight.

Yep, I'm in the Moorings, but not on the water

I come from a military family, we lived in South Housing when I was in high school. Buc Beach was our spot, and when it was clam, we shark fished off the beach by paddling our baits out in a canoe or on our boards. We caught some biguns', and as a prank, we turned a 4 footer loose in the Satellite High swimming pool just before a swim meet Crazy Kids!

As for the pics, I was where you are a few months ago. Keep trying and you'll get it.
