Default best material for trasome

does anyone know what material is the best for a transome rebuild. I know marine ply is typically used, but if there is better material out there... thanks

Some people use composite boards, like "penske board" or "coosa" board. However, as far as what is best, there are many opinions. Read all the old posts and make up your own mind. (I will be using Coosa Bluewater when I do mine).
