Boat is almost done and should be getting wet some time this week for the first time since I bought it over 6 months ago. Very few things left to do, like a new windshield, doors for the console compartment and finding the right prop for my new Yami 150hp.
I also want to thank all you guys, who help along the way with your comments, experiences, support and ideas. Thank you Caymanboy for helping me find my new engine and for sharing your knowledge with me....by the way, your boat is sweeeet! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Nice work esp on refinishing the interior with the panels. How did you glue the fiberglass panels to the inner hull sides?

Thank you for the comments.
Strick, I actually got the idea from your postings on how to do the inside panels using the outside curvature of the boat. However, I did not want to drill holes thru the hull and this is why I use wedges and clamps to hold the panels in place. I used a combination of mat, resin and cabosil for permanent bonding. I will be breaking in the engine over the next few days and hope to do WOT over the weekend in Biscayne Bay, have cold ones at the sand bar in Elios Key....and take those water shots with some of my Brazilian model friends...lol.. ![]() Rob |

Very very nice job, on the prop I would guess a 17 would be the number

thanks...
I just tried a 17" prop yesterday and the max RPM I got was 4500. I will trying a 19 this Friday, hoping it'll be the right one. |

I hope that was a typo. 4500 is too low for rpms.
