Am I the only one who grew up reading Brautigan and Kesey?

Yes Sandy, you are.

Ok.
Here we go.

K.D.W. 1,2,3.

Kids are allowed to weigh anything. Boat scales do not need to be certified. IGFA rules are for them not us.

Go get some dinner. Dammed if Rudderfish don`t cook up like Grouper.

Cheers,
GFS

Anybody got a bent prop I can put on a perpetual CSC Trophy for heaviest fish?

Sandy, I really tried for you today. Saw a guy towing a Boston Whaler coming up the main road towards me today, don't know why, however I looked at the boat as it went by and the engine, a very new Etec, was tilted all the way down and sparks were flying like crazy. Did the 'ol u-turn, and chased him down. Too late Ethel.......the damage was done. I did not have the nerve to ask him if he wanted to donate the prop AND lower unit to the CSC gatering for a trophy. He seemed to be in a rather sour mood.

Damn gun-toting, prop-smashing, grits-luvin' hippies!

Sandy, I read One flew over... Electric Kool-aid... The Wayward Bus, On the Road and much of the Great White Shark Hunter S. Thompson's genius ... but I was young then -- does that count?

Anyway being a distant SC cousin, I be happy to contribute to a fishing tournament in any way I can. I've got a couple of very accomplished old Al Black Max that came off the "21." I'll send some pics tomorrow if you want to inspect them ... pm me an address and I'll ship it tomorrow if you like...

Cheers,
-Gillie

Damn Gillie,
I don`t remember seeing you in my English classes. Were you on the bus or off the bus? Lots of cloudy days back then.
My administrators wore pants with animals on them to fool the parents.

Gillie did you read Brautigan`s Trout Fishing in America?
Nothing to do with fishing, but way out there mannnnn.
I bought Rolling Stone just for H.S.T.

PM sent!!!!!!!! Now I gotta make a base. I won that ole` sst on ebay. Thanks!

Ouch Don, a friend had a band named Severe Tire Damage. I see lots of guys here towing with their lower units hanging out.

Cheers,
GFS

I think the trophy should be called "The Channel Digger's Award".
