Default batteries

Do I need a deep cell & a cranking battery or will 2 cranking batteries work. I have a vhf, 2 fish finders, gps, stereo.

they have hybrids now - I have 2 Marine Maxx from wal mart, they have great cranking amps and much better lasting power. A true deep cycle doesn'r work well on teh cranking side but teh hybrids do. Not sure who makes WM batteries but they sure well, my last one went at 5yrs+ and was just tired

A deep cycle will toast your stator...
Go with two cranking batteries.
Globe makes Walmart batteries, Mine lasted 7 years!!

Like I said they have a hybrid that I can run the baitwell all night and it fires the motor right up not even using the other one - good price too
