Default Closed Transom on 20 sf

Hi Can anyone tell me what the height is you used when enclosing the transom ..As far as the total height from outside keel to middle of transom crown ,I am at that point to shape the transom and would like a good idea as to what height would look best. I plan on building a bait tank in the stern or a fish box either way. Thanks Martin

Use a batten across the top of transom on either side of cutout to establish the radius, like Don Herman did when he filled mine in.

Here's the result.

Default Followed the radius

I followed the radius and set it down 1/2" in case I use a plywood core there.

I think this sets it off as very different.

You can seethe old height on the old white fiberglass skin. I am much higher.
