Default Garmin 232gps

Hi i just pulled this unit out of hibernation was going to try to convert hundred of numbers i have from td -lat lon one problem... This unit will not stay on.. I read the instructions and it says nothing about turning off on it own... Do i need to keep her on the battery fora while to charge the internal battery.. Or do i just need to throw away and get a new one... This was fairly new when i got it.. Before it was shelved for about 4 years thanks for your help guys and gals

you need to replace the internal battery

Thanks For the help... Got a battery at battery source. Solder it in and Blammo ... Works like Brand New... Thanks again

Okay I have a lot of numbers tds ,I would like to convert to LAt Lons My master chain is7980 Is there offsets I need to use to get a some what accurate pos.... Right now I am about 1/4 mile off Without any offsets Would like to be about 300 feet.. is it possible?
