Default Re: Starting to rebuild

Hey Bill, welcome. To answer your question, a 250 )any one) will push that just fine, and of course everyone has their own brand preferences, but if I were to repower new, I'd go with a 250 Ficht and if someone else were paying for it , I'd go with the new Honda 225.Mine's a 73, and I still have the teak louvered doors in the console,I like the look and just clean it and oil it once a year.I'd like to know how yours sunk, twice ? I was getting some parts for my Old 225 Rude, from a mechanic I've known for 30 years, he says "what are you hanging that thing on " a 73 23' Seacraft I said, "best riding boat, but their sinkers" he says.So I'm curious how yours went down.
