Thanks ScottM & Hooper...with ScottM's figures I would say that my weight would be around 6,050lbs in which case I could pull it with this v8 explorer(would much rather my pickup though). Hooper I think Sandwich has a scale, I'll stop by.

Hey Squiddy

I'm sure your more than aware of this but I'll say it anyway. I've towed with a Explorer (a friends truck) and its a bit different from the larger vehicle. Took alot more to get it going and alot more to stop it. For short distances I would think you would be fine...What the heck I've seen much larger than the 23 getting towed behind that vehicle (the Explorer) than should have been. I know I "felt" the boat behind me more in the smaller truck. At least you have the V-8 in the other vehicle.

I know when I tow with my vehicle I dont even know the boats behind me. [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]

Hope you get the 250 fixed.....I'm sure you miss it.

Hey Scott, thanks for the insight...I think it will be a little nerve racking. I'll only be going about 4 miles down the street, my real concern is getting up and off the ramp at borderline tides.

Four miles ....No problem.
But I hear ya about up and down the ramp.....the 4-wheeldrive will come in handy at least [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]
