Default Re: 23 SC starboard drain up front

On my '77 23 I have recently replaced mine with a new brass sleve and 5200. The original seemed to be bedded with plain clear silicone so if it lasted these 30 years the 5200 will be there forever.I for some reason have a pair of through hull fittings also, one beside this drain that is capped off and an inspection port is cut in the bottom of the box and the other is below it .I replaced these fittings also and run a washdown /baitewll pump off of a seacock from the lower one. just my 2 cents.
