Hey Brad, if I were you and had the back well chained in the rear , I would still fill her with water particularly if you can get the bow down so that the most water weight is forward. Isabel last year I removed everything on top- also taped down all of my hatchesso the wind could not rip them up and off. All curtains, cushions off. Antennaes layed down then secured/tied down. Put my anchor over and left some scope on it. (Isabel was a P*ssy compared to what Frances is also. Even though you have her tied down to concrete blocks you can never have too many lines on the boat and the trailerand since you are in Homestead, I would tie her up on the west side of your house/property if possible and up tight to it. Not much more you can do- you are getting out right ???? Sure hope so-plenty welcome up here if you need somewhere to go. ~16 hr drive

Our prayers to all in the path of Frances. Please make good choices and be safe. The rest is all about insurance.

HA OTTO;
I hope my one boat theory doesn’t turn into a No Boat or No House theory.
As of 5 am 9/2/04 they are saying approx 60 miles north of me. Somewhere near Jupiter Inlet.

Yeah! Seems like that b*****d out of the Atlantic is going the same route as Charley. I sure hope it veers away as many of our brethren in Southwest Florida aren't still recovered from Charley. I'm originally from Puerto Rico and I don't remember ever being hit by 3 freaking hurricanes in one year! What's going on this year, anybody know?

Today Ivan is spinning at 160 MPH at that speed No House will be able to stand in its wake. Sure hope it goes and plays some where else where no one would get hurt.
