Default Re: FRESH WATER TANK

HA REELSMOKER
My connections for fill and air vent are on the side and I mounded it on its side with those connections at the right top part of the tank. I then went to a hardware store and got a hose from the kitchen sink department that looks kind a like a fancy straw with those indentations for bending the straw and it remaining with the curve that you bent (I think it is was designed for the U shape trap in the sink) male and female threads made of plastic I cut the female part off and on the other end with the male threaded I pointed it up then I picked up a screw top for it from the sprinkler system threaded ends which fit it perfectly just needed a hose clam and that part done. On the vent I used a brass 90o angle and pointed it up as well to vent the tank. I fill the tank to approx four fifth from the top to prevent splashing out the vent in ruff seas if you extend the vent with a tube upward you should not have any water coming out the vent if you fill all the way up.
