I rebuilt the hitch coupler, added grease to the bearings, sprayed the springs with WD-40 and put on new tires and rims ($150). The cross beam in the rear is still intact (barely) and everything else on the trailer looks okay. I drove the boat and trailer a half mile around the neighborhood to test the the trailer, springs and bearings. Everything worked okay. I would still suggest new bearing. Easier to just replace the hubs and bearings. A complete assembled kit is $25 each. Two people have called and said they were coming but no one has showed up yet. First come, first served.

Hi Cliff,
I apologize, I was coming by to check her out but had to leave on a job emergency (had no idea there was such a thing as a GOLF emergency until I joined this company!). I will be back this weekend and plan to come by ASAP to take her from you. I can't do much with her now but I can keep it for any one of my SC buddies, it'll just cost about $25 a month to park her next to mine.

Great news! The SeaCraft has been rescued. The boat was picked up today and is being held in storage pending pickup, transportation and restoration by the new owner. Dispite it's condidtion, it is still a great looking boat going down the road on the trailer. Beautiful lines and one hell of a big boat for 21 feet. Many, many thanks to the new owener for saving the boat.

OK everyone, I picked up the boat today and I have it stored next to mine at Homestead Air Reserve Base, including all the pertinent paperwork, original pictures and brochure. It costs $25 a month to keep her there but I wanted to get it before anyone NOT from our CSC group could take it. It's available to whomever wants it and will restore her to her former glory. She's really unique and a true Moesly job, a 1962 21' Dual Console, the lifting areas and the V are deeper than mine, she has a really clean curved sheer and looks bigger than she is, especially parked next to my 20' Seafari. She even has 1-1/4 1968 Evinrude outboards still attached to her transom! As a dual console she would really turn heads (sorry, I think center consoles have become dime-a-dozen lately). The original 1966 Seminole trailer behaved well during our 15 mile run South through the back roads to the storage but will need help for any longer trips, especially bearings and some frame work, but Cliff was good enough to leave the new tires and lights on so that's all taken of (thanks again Cliff!). Here's the deal, I'm home until Monday the 11th and then I leave for 3 weeks until the 2nd of May. If someone can pick her up this week let's get together ASAP as I need to escort you or the transporter into the Air Base. If not possible, then we can make plans for when I return in May. Either way, I need someone to pick her up ASAP before the storage charges get to be too much, I wish I could rebuild her myself but sadly I just don't have that kind of money or a place to do it. For the forunate person who will get her here's my phone no's: Home: 305-388-3489 Cell: 305-775-9003 Hope to hear from someone soon!
