Default Re: There Talking About Our Boats

Hey,
I resemble that remark...
Coming into Port Canaveral with fish boxes full of grouper, snapper, and dolphin. Blood and bait smeared all over the boat. Salt caked on the windshield. The smell of 2 stroke oil burning. My kind of day.

Yes Dunk is wrong about plywood stringers, but he is right about the transoms in most of these beast that are wet/rotten/shot after 20 years. I don't know him personally, but he is a great asset in what he knows best, OMC stuff.

I have been in and out of my 23' tracker hull, and I am about to pull an early 70's potter hull apart. I will let you know IMHO what I see between the 2. I know all you Potter guys think your boat walks on water, instead of slicing through it, but jeezzzzz, lighten up!!!!
There all good.
