Very Very Nice looking SeaCraft. Great Job! I like how the piping on the bow rail matches your hard top. How about some V berth pics

Forget the cushions go out for a ride. The smile on your face will cushion most of the ride anyway.

Obviously a lot of thought went into your design. Looks great and high quality work. Question (actually three) - what is your hardtop cored with and do you know (roughly) the weight of the glass top alone? Last, are your electronics boxes molded-in as part of the bottom skin or separate units attached otherwise? Sorry for the multiple questions but I have a personal bias to the 23 Sceptre/Tsunami's. Thanks, Chris

Its not just the cusions...they have both the seats! The top is foam core glass (to save weight) and the boxes are molded into the underskin. The top probably weighs about 75 lbs and the frame maybe that much again. So I hope it won't change the ride. I will post a pic of the cabin when I can. It is all original as far as I know. The boat had twins but was converted to a single VP 260 in 1988.

I love the top. It looks great. How much weight do you think the foam core glass could support? I have a 73 Tsunami that I'm hoping to put a top on next off season and am gathering ideas. Can you share any other photos of your boat? It looks great and I need some direction for what to do with my cockpit helm and cabin too.

Hi Jon,
I am shopping for a top for my 1984 Scepter. The top on your boat is very sharp, great lines. What did it cost you? |

Thats some nice looking work, for a pretty reasonable price.
Good morning jon, I sent u an email the other day, and was wondering if u had gotten it? I live in Middletown Delaware and was wondering who you used to fabricate the pipe work for your top? I have a 76 Sceptre listed in this section (My 76 Sceptre Project) and will be adding a hardtop as well. Check your site email as I have included my contact numbers. Thanks Jon, and again, Great Looking Seacraft!! ![]() |

The top was done by Fritz at T Tops Etc. in Lewes. He has a guy in Va. that does the fiberglass then sends him the top and he does the framwork. He does excellent work. I'm not sure where this boat came from originally but we bought it from a friend who owned it since 1986. he kept it in his garage in Salisbury. We will be fishing it out of the boattel at Sunset Marina in O.C.. Happy Easter!
