The 2006 All-Tackle record is 113 lbs, 1 oz so I suggest you have it weighed on an IGFA certified scale ASAP just in case!

Man I thought for sure I had some sort of local record beat. I would have sworn it felt more than 105lbs last night. I had it weighed this morning and it was 69.4, they usually loose 5% sitting overnight so it was around 75lbs.

I have my doubts about the edibility of it, the meat was dark and red. I have some neighbors that are going to try it.

No sh!t dude!! But I guess if it ain't gonna be used for covering a boat, using it as a fish wrapper is the next best thing.

I find the "Green Gucci" to be a very multifunctional asset to any fisherman/boater. After a light spay with the garden hose, bamb! right back on the vette.

And I think the half dollar scales that are stuck to it only adds to it ambiance.

on the eastern shore of Va. , they eat it religiously- say it taste like poke chops- there are a lot of worms close to the tail in most of em that size- here on the southside of the chesbay most people dont eat em. Although Al-B (member of CSC) loves em, or so Im told,lol. Nice blackie.
