My advice is to get off your ass and go buy one of the many Seacraft's that are available for under $8K. Half the people on this site have driven accross the country to buy one. If you can't find one in Florida, you are destined to be FISHANDFATCHICKS forever..

If you can not drive to West Palm Beach from Key West,
you might as well give up!!!!!! I just saw 2 under $6000 in Palm Beach in the Boat Trader. At 17 I would think you would have a license or a buddy with a vehicle to tow a boat from there to Key West. Maybe a 4.5 hour ride up US-1 to the Turnpike to WPB.

I guess people don't understand all the crap involved in doing something like that. Gas prices, finding a person willing to do that, and all sorts of stuff. Its not as easy as you say. I don't have my liscense yet because I rid emy bike everywhere I go bbecause Key West is only a 12 mile round island. No pricey gas for me.
