my dad convinced me to try ONE final time on this painting thing. i was using a gun that shot way too much paint

close the paint flow valve to 30 to 50 percent open, and open the fan all the way, apply your coverage light and hold gun about 8 inches away from the work area, If the paint is thinned properly it should take three coats ( one fine tack coat and two, two pass coats )to cover the console, Dont rush, there is no way you can posibly mess up more than I have learning how to paint. only getting 49oo rpm's and that equals 40 mph! Think i'm going to change prop!

You may want to check if all cylinders are fireing maybe one coil on stator could be bad ( major slow down)that would be hard to detect just by hearing engine run .Jose
