I have the 582 and a B-260. It works very well, but my complaint is the narrow beam angle. I run mine in 50hz all the time to get a wider beam angle than 200hz.

Airmar is aware of this and there is a new X-ducer being tested now. God knows when it will hit the market.

It is the exact same X-ducer as the B-260/M-260 except it is 24deg beam on both 50hz & 200hz.

I can't even find the imfo on Airmars site. I found it on THT.
