Some of the early boats did not have the hull id engraved. There was a aluminum placard that was glued to the hull usually in the transom splash well area. My 69 had this and the Id was 4 digits as well.

Did you buy a cc or a bow rider? The specs for all the boats with the exception of the bow rider can be found on the home page of this site. Welcome

I have a 71 20sf that only has four numbers on it. They are on the starboard outside of the transom.

Strick, that 20 is coming along great, I love all of you pics.
