Default Re: Hull \"136\" 21 Classic -Found

Alot of the older Seacrafts here in Florida have Title issues. The State has incorrectly assigned Alot of the Seacrafts with the first 3 Characters of the HIN (known as an MIC) as FLZ, indicating a homebuilt in the records, but on the title it clearly says Seacraft. The NEW Seacraft MIC is SIC, it changes as ownership of the company changed. I beleive that when Florida consolidated/ merged/ updated/ entered the old seacrafts into the databases, there were issues. I see this same problem frequently. the First 3 letters of the HIN- Hull ID Number were mandatory for coastguard purposes- so they could ID a certain manufacturer. Also if a new owner didnt have or find the HIN they would just say it was Homemade when registering. It is very clear somethin is very wrong, how can the HIN state homebuilt while the title states Seacraft????? There are also dicrepancies with the years not "jiving" on title and what the state has in the database. From 1976 to 2002 it was SXC. Don't know what all of the ORIGINAL Moesly Potter MICs were. here is a link that will better explain.
