Hey, I bet we could make a video with our "classics" that puts that one to shame.

Peter,

It's funny you should mention that. Carla and I discussed that exact subject on Saturday with her Dad, who was doing film of racing Sea Crafts 45 years ago.

It was suggested that if we had 3 or 4 cameras and could get a "good" day, that the get together at Long Point in April, where we should have 20 boats from 18 to 27, we could put the film together on a DVD. It was also suggested that I spearhead and coordinate the effort.

I'll do that. Any experienced videographers or editors out there that care to help? Digital still images would be great too. I'm thinking of investing in an High Definition Camera with a large hard drive... That's a write-off, right?

I have a DVR camera rig in my boat, same rig that the police use in their cars. The quality isn't HD, but the cameras are stabilized (more or less).

I think I might know a CSC member who has limited professional experience with a camera?! He may be fishing in the Pacific at that time, though......

Keep in mind we already have Boatpix.com on board for the Long Point gathering.

Otto feel free to contact them and set up for them to do a video

Having us run in formation being video'd would be totally awesome.

See ya, Ken
