Some of the specs shown on the CSC site page for 20CC's do not apply to the 1970 model year. There were no 175 hp outboards then. I believe most of the '70 models were rated for 140 hp, although I have heard rumors of a few with wide transom cutouts that were rated for 240 hp, designed to take up to twin inline 6cyl. Mercs.
My '72 Seafari 20's original sticker beneath the helm shows a max hp rating of 240 hp, and 1480 lbs max capacity, which is different from what later Seafari's had. My first Seafari was a '69 model and had the wide transom cutout for twin motors.
