Sandy, mine came off easy; just used an Exacto knife with chisel blade; no heat required! They've been on there about 30 years however, so the So. Fl. sun had rendered them pretty brittle! Used the polyglow cleaner & 3M pad to remove what little residue was left. Call me tomorrow if you want measurements on where I'm installing mine. Denny
