Never cared much for those boats...

Very sharp Nuthinfancy

It's killing me that you pay storage for a 25. I'm pretty sure I measured 27 from bowlight (through hatch) to transom and that's why I didn't rip him for charging me for a 27. I thought it was more like 29 with the platform and thought I was getting a deal. I could be wrong but I'm sure going to measure again.

Again, good luck with the project
Brandon

Great vessels nuthinfancy and seafari 25! How do these boats handle on the drift 2-3 footers with that extreme deadrise? Can you compare the handling to other deep vee boats...maybe a Carolina 25 or Albemarle 24? Good luck with the repower nf. Thanks, Steve

The biggest factor with that hull is the deadrise and its narrow = need for HP. I do think as much as hate to say "4 stroke" but I think that extra 50HP would come in handy. The Zukes also run that lower gear ratio which may also help with mid range cruising power. The only other single would be the 300 Etec but it hasn't been mentioned as an option - as for twins I think a pr of 200's would work better than the 175's since it does need the HP.

I think they would have sold many more of those had we had todays power options, it was just hard to get enough in them - twin inline 6 mercruisers or the singe V8 I/O was just hard to get the HP for it to run right.
