I read on another board that Guy Harvey has bought and intends to reopen Bimini Big Game Resort next month. Anyone have any info? Might make for a easy destination.
Here ya go.

Walkers is NOT back up and running and it looks like it will stay this way for a while.

The airstrip is still active and customs is still there. No fuel, no hotel, no food, no real docks. There are some pilings but thats about it.

One of the reasons I clear there is the low number of folks on the island makes it easier most of the time. Less traffic equals less time spent on clearing.

Fuel is available at nearby Grand Cay for those who need it. There are some Hotel rooms on Grand cay if anyone would rather stay in that area. I prefer to head down to Foxtown though, and will need to do that regardless. I could stop off in Grand for a night or 2 on the way though.

We are in mid June. If we are going to make this trip work we need to get it together pretty quick. This should be a fun trip. I will go regardless, but some extra company is always a plus.

Who is in?

Heading to Foxtown (Abacos) Thursday July 29 with a return planned for Aug. 6. I will be heading out of St Lucie inlet for anyone that wants to cross with me.
