Next thing you know, someone will pop up on the site with a cat boat claiming it to be a SeaCraft.
I would really like to find the original SeaCraft Wing Boat..

A good friend of mine owned this boat. He was going to put twin 200's on her but ended up buying only one at the time with future plans on installing the second when he could afford it. Well, that never happened so he ran around with that single offset 200. That hull would still go over 40! I always loved the boat and convinced him to will it to me... I didn't do him in for the boat though. He ended up buying a cat boat so he gave it to me soon after. It was and is still in very rough shape. I too had my doughts on it being a SeaCraft... First I contacted Bill Potter who was nearby at the time and he came to my office to look at the photos and he told me he what it was but I needed to talk to Carl Moesly. Carl lived in Hobe Sound at the time and drove over immediatly with a huge scrap book filled with old racing photos and newspaper articles from back in the day. We spent hours going through that book and talking about the VDR hull design. I'm not a Pilot, Im just always amazed how time flys... Ken I was beginning to think I was going to get banned from this site! Anyway, I consider Carl and Jeanne very good friends and I have learned so much from them it's difficult to put into words. There's more to this story but I need to get back to work.

Flying High

Based on the FL numbers on your hull , it appears it was not titled till around 1985. What does your title show as hull ID & FL numbers etc? What do you think was the title status prior?

Good luck with your rebuild
