Lets start with the last couple weeks. All the plumbing is done with the exception of the tuna tubes which I don't have yet. The fish boxes are both plumbed to a macerator pump for the end of the day wash down. I had to glass a piece of half cut 4in PVC to the inner stern for the tuna tubes line. Also de-rigged the T-top to weld in the radar mount.

Long night yesterday... moving out of my shop in less than 2 weeks, so had to start cleaning up. After that rolled the boat back in, and got down to business. The bars to bolt the radar mount to got welded in last week. Last nights tasks:
Pulled the motor off, re-threaded the T-top canvas, reinstalled the outriggers and all the antenna and installed the new Radar mount. Next up is the T-box rewire and radar install.

I went around the edges where I had only used non-waxed gellcoat before, this should add some shine and keep it cleaner looking.

Radar dome is on and cable is run down, along with all the rest of the stuff on the top is done and sealed up!

Taped and rolled the forward part of the main deck.

While waiting on drying nonskid I was working on re-doing the T-top box. Still needs a filler panel in the middle and wiring. The VHF is now installed under the CD deck.

May I ask what product you are painting the deck with? Will be doing the same before too long. Looking real nice!

Its called Kiwi grip. I got it at Jamestown dist, goes on with their special roller. Its sensitive to how thick the material is, and how much you 'work' the material.

I just used Kiwi Grip on my skiff and can't say enough good things about the stuff. No stirring, priming, just lay it down and roll super easy. Will be using it my 23 SC as well.

Looks like good stuff. I used Durabak on a small boat I had and liked it other than it absorbing too much dirt and being somewhat difficult to clean. Was thinking about doing the sand thing with single part polyurethane but didn't want a high gloss on top of it. This looks like a good option!

HA! I wish! I have been out 'fishing' 3 times in the last month, and they was mostly beer cruzes.
I am up to myass in alligators at work right now, have 5 guys (including myself) doing 40-50hrs a week and still falling behind! I took on a ton of new customers, and I couldn't staff up fast enough (typical lower cape story) and its causing me heartburn.
Oh yea and the wife is due in less than 4 weeks, another source of heartburn.
Boat still does not have a motor, heartburn #3...

Congrats on your Trifecta!! Sounds like you'll have a very busy summer....especially in another 4 weeks. Best of luck with the little on the way... My 5 year old won't let me leave him at home any more!!
Thought you had your engine ordered and delivered? I'm curious how it sits as I'm thinking about twin 150-200 etecs on a Hermco bracket for the Sceptre. All the best, Steve
