According to a feature article in the Soundings magazine a few months back,Metan Marine charges about $100,000 for a regular 23 Seacraft resto and 125k for one with all the electronic goodies.
The work is beautiful and they go beyond what most would consider a restoration. They even glass in some type of aluminum grid system into the stringers.
Gotta agree with Bigshrimpin,it just boils down to people who have a whole bunch of disposable income and want the bragging rights.

I have to say though after the work I(like most of you) had to do,you couldn't get me to do another no matter what you paid me.
I love,love,love,my 23,but 100 to 175k expenditure ????,I don't think so.
