I used marine ply redoing my 23 .one thought would be to make a pattern then use malmine board or I think strick uses mdm to make a mold .there is a plasic molding that plasterers use for around edges thats about 3/4 inch tall and has a bunch of holes on the othere side(90degree angle) you can screw it t the board cutting the on side to flex it where needed. I USED IT TO MAKE ALL MY HATCHES. wish I had made the floor that way it would hae saved a ton of $$$$ in sand paper and time.you can grind the edge where you would need to tie it together and glass sections together
