Many, many thanks to everyone, especially Ken for the tips on Mosquito Lagoon(fresh clams are yummy), the photographers for going with Dave and I offshore, the pictures(what fun to see my own boat run), Denny for taking care of us in Mosquito Lagoon, the welcome, the camaraderie, the FOOD. Our first gathering and it won't be the last. We had a great time. Y'all come to the West Coast next year.
Now, whats all this "flying" stuff???? Misstatements, rumors, half truths, I don't care what the pics show, Photoshop can fool you. There is no way the boat was that high out of the water. I mean, think about it. How likely is it that a 25 foot boat could run 20 knots straight into a confused 4-6, launching off the waves, airborne 8-10 feet above the water at the steering wheel, fall straight down and hit the water with no bam, no slam, ready to do it again, and feel like an old guy could go to Bimini in that stuff. It just ain't reasonable. . . . . . Until you drive a 25 ft Seacraft Seafari. I don't know how it does it, but I and my aged kidneys are very glad it does. Connor Oh yeah, Denny has got some nice shots of Dave's Seafari which should be up soon. I was too busy to watch on the way out, but it was a real pleasure to see how flat and stable Dave's boat ran on the way in, truly sweet! Gotta get me a set of those big tabs.
