The I-4 corridor other then the Keyz.....Is what works for the
Florida crew! Anclote was good with the Holiday Inn and
BBH57 with the great ramp access! Fort Desoto was excellent on the west coast.
Long Point Park on the east coast..

Keep in mind with Florida it is close to 1000 miles from one end to the
other... Even Steve lost2a6 came all the way from Mississippi to join
the in crowd.... We just need to set it and forget it!
East or West either way Patti and I are good.

LETS DO IT!!

Always a good time rain or shine!

I did forget to mention the Anclote ramp is now open 24 hrs and there are much better spots to camp on the southern end of the island now. I'm pretty sure Ranger Chris is gone due to budget cuts and the south end has a great bar that formed that wasn't there before, makes the run to the ramp and bathrooms much closer. I also discoverd another island that would be very good south of there but its only a fall/winter but very very close to shore and bathrooms as its in the ICW (5mins), that is south off of Dunedin. We camped there with the dog 2 winters ago a couple times in January as it provides good coverage for wind and such. Used to be a little motel on the water in Dunedin too but we'd have to check on that, just lots of changes up there as the North end isn't even suitable any more - all the sand moved south LOL

Don, Patty still needs a capt, no doubt in my mind he carries his weight

I left a message at the Long Point camp ground in Sebastian for the end of April.

I also made a call to the Jupiter Waterfront Inn where I stay sometimes in Jupiter. The Jupiter call was not for the gathering. I read on THT that boats are no longer able to tie up to their boardwalk or anchor in front of the hotel because of seagrass! I hear there are people taking pictures and a $1000 fine if you disturb the grass. I'm sure glad I am not over there because it would not be a fun situation with a LEO threatening me with a 1K fine because of sea grass.
