I managed to get mine out in one piece but the 20' I/O is a bid different from the 23' outboard rear cap. I want to put mine back so I took the time removing it but if it aint cut it up and make it ez on yourself.

with alot of elbow grease and i few bad words i got tthe splashwell out. i ended up cutting it in two peices. thanks for the info. does anyone know what the 4 digit number is stamped on the inside of the transom? mine says 3075
